Mars' moons are not exactly like our Earth's moon. The stochast, the largest of two, is very close to its planet; Compared to the moon's 27-day orbit, the moon swings around Mars in line with the letter of each Martin day (sun).
Solar eclipses, therefore, are much more persistent than those here on Earth. Passed in front of the phobaos but does not fully cover it - for a candleor or partial eclipse anywhere on most of the sun's catechised. Because the pub is growing so fast, it's never losing it for more than 30 seconds.
But, even during this short time, Mars has recorded something specific to the insight lander is getting specific.
To the surprise of Mars scientists, during the Eclipse, the lander's siasmometer-device that records the Earth to monitor possible seismic activity, leads to a little bit of a toll, from one side to the other.
Researchers at the Institute of Earth Physics in Zurich actually studied data from The Mars Insights that some of the effects of the eclipse on Earth are also found on Mars.
Specially air from this place," explained Eth Zurich's sisomlogist Simon Sth
The insight is equipped with temperature and air sensors-but it records no change in the atmosphere during the night. Air environment, atmospheric temperature, and barometric pressure remained very much constant with the normal sun.
However, solar cells registered it. In fact, if they weren't, it would be very sensitive, because the phoboss could block as much as 40 percent of sunlight - so it was certain that something went according to plan.
"When the sun is in front of the sun, less sunlight reaches solar cells, and as a result, less electricity is generated,"
Because both of them are called with unexpected tilts by the siasmometer and with the strange reading, in the siasmometer.
In fact, along with the magnetic field used to monitor the martin surface, it was very easy to detect. The two components appeared to be a reduction in the current by solar row. So scientists were likely to decrease the source.
"But we didn't expect to read this siasmometer; It's an unusual signal," Stehler said. That's what we're talking about: 10 s-8. "
It doesn't look a false positive; The signal is recorded for three, but not real. The team expects that it may be an earthquake response on the moon's ocean-it is that it passes over as gravity pulls.
However, when they compared it to other reading of seismic activity from Mars, the signal does not match any of the previous seismic activity.
Another possibility is that the wire attaches the siasmometer to the lander contract. However, it had created a tilt in the opposite direction which was observed.
And the change in the temperature of the environment has changed a paradigm that has made the sesmometer, but, as we have already discussed, no such change was detected.
But there was another signal. Another data radamometer recorded a slight drop in surface temperature during the longest transition, after about a minute and a half after the earth warmed back to its pre-transition temperature.
This team believes, the most likely reason for strange reading.
"During an eclipse, it's on the ground," siasmologist Martin Van told ET Zurich coolly. "This is normal, which is device taltus.
Such an effect was celebrated in 1997, on consultation in the Black Forest in Germany.
A technician forgot to turn off the lights except the siasmometer volt, which resulted in the high noise in the long-term data as the bulb heat seometer on which the sesamometer is comfortable.
A series of experiments with artificial heat sources, shows that the earthquake is almost immediately reacting to heat changes in the earthquake pillar.
The team repeated their version of the experiment, and found that they were able to adjust with the tilting of the seismometer of insight.
The researchers said this information could be used to better understand the phowos and mars.
For one, the location of the insight is mapped very accurately. Knowing that when a eclipse begins and ends at this point, scientists can help to bind its orbit more accurately.
And as a result, we can help understand what the Store is for the Future of the Cowboys.
The moon orbit is lost at a rate of 1.8 cm each year, as it goes. Finally, scientists predict, it will be that the sea forces will burst apart the tears that will grow closer to Mars, turning into a ring of the mars.
If there is a matter of speed, it can tell us how flexible and warm the planet's interior is – or how flexible and cool it is. And as a result, the date of the formation of Mars may shed some light.
