England Covid restrictions: what is allowed from Monday - Flaze News

The government look to curb fast-rising infection numbers with new amendments

What is the change?

The law is being amended to reduce all gatherings in and out of England by more than six persons. While the guidelines had already set a limit of six for most situations, outside of community events, marriages and the like, until now the law had only one ceiling set of 30 people. That roof has now come down, and will be effective from Monday. Rules also apply from within, meaning that the current limit of two households or bubble meetings will be over the six-persons limit overall. Weddings, funerals and such events remain no change.

Why is this being done?

There are two reasons. One thing that had to be done to prevent the rapidly growing Covid infection numbers, with daily events for the UK shooting up to nearly 3,000 for Sunday and Monday, and more than 2,400 on Tuesday, after any period after the initial peak of global warming. In addition, the police had warned ministers that the legal limit of 30 made it difficult for them to break up mass gatherings.

What about the local folkdoon?

It is still taking place, for example the new rules announced for Bolton, which means that the restaurant only offers steps, and closes many businesses from late night trading. The new rules plan to work in parallel.

What am I stopping to do?

In most basic conditions, whether in a garden, having more than one with more than five people, in a park, outside a pub, or indoors. Only exceptions are if your home or support bubble is large; . . . for "work or education purposes" for weddings or funerals; Or organized team games held in a Covid-19 safe way. The new rules promise full guidance on exceptions before they come into effect.

Unless it's a pretty little. The rule applies to gatherings of more than six people at all ages.

It is also changing elsewhere across the UK.

Such laws are divine and remains to be seen. In Scotland, the roof over outdoor gatherings is placed in five households (outside) or three households (internal). In Wales, 30 people can still gather outside, while the internal guidance is that people should not gather people.

If I break the new laws, will I be fined?

Great. While the police's first response will be to "simply, explain and encourage", failure to do so could bring a £100 fine, double the £3,200 per crime each time.
